The health and safety of all workers, customers, and the general public are important. We aim to remove or reduce risks to the environment, health, safety and welfare of anyone affected by our business operations. As always, we also follow the safety and health policy of our customers while we are at their facilities.
Training our employees to be knowledgeable in the tasks associated with their work is part of the process. We train and cross-train our staff to ensure they can operate in a safe conditions and properly utilize tools and equipment. EPA refrigerant safety; airlift platform operations; fork lift operations; boiler operations; chiller operations, maintenance, and teardown and OSHA safety are some of the certifications our staff are constantly achieving.
Completing the OSHA 10 hour safety course is a base for working on our construction projects with additional and specialty safety training on a continuous basis. Our history of strong safety leadership is underlined by beginning each day with a “Tool Box” safety talk and an equipment inspection. We have monthly safety training meetings providing more than 15+ hours a year covering common hazards like cuts, falls, electrical shock, and driving safety.
Commercial Air, Inc. is committed to a drug free work place. We randomly test employees and applicants and we test in post-accident situations.
